But I see Images in Words

Let me love you?
I adore you
if looks can kill
your eyes will do the job just fine
Oh, they already did
didn’t even notice
but the shatters of the heart
and all that matters

look into my eyes
no more lies
I lie dead and buried
because of you
make it a good one

I adore you
and if looks can kill
look into my eyes
I will

Lament

To look into those eyes again
What wouldn’t I give – but oh, in vain –
Such thoughts of life are lazy now
While on thy grave the willows grow.

Dark are my days and black the nights,
dull are the lamps, hazy all lights.
And when I look up from the ground
There is no beauty to be found.

And no ore smiles upon my lips
That still and still want to be kissed
And be it only, that by chance
Thy deep brown eyes on them would glance.

But nay! Thy eyes will shine no more!
And what can I do now before
My heart and mind go truly mad
For thou art gone from live to dead.

But still the silly heart of mine
Denies the way of all in time
And wishes thee in endless strive
Out of the dreams, back into life.

Upon thy grave the willows grow
And hang their branches sad and low
For year and day and day and year
And for all time – I want you here.
